The Types of L-Visas

While no formal education exists, the worker must do a key role within the company and must have provided the knowledge of the company’s products, processes, research, services, or management, among other things. There are types of employees who are often deemed qualified for L-1B visas, such as accountants, programmers, computer experts, and engineers. There exist two varying categories of this of visa–the L-1A visa:

• L-1A — This visa enables executives or managers working within the ministry to come back to the U.S. office for a period of your time;
• L-1B — An L-1B visa enables employees of a foreign company who have specialized knowledge of the business and operations to transfer to the U.S. location for a group period of your time;
